I hope you had a restful weekend. My weekend was not the best, I have been down with a cold since Friday I just hope I feel better by tomorrow cos summer school starts tomorrow. I wore this to church about a week ago. Isn't this outfit so lady-like? From the midi skirt to the peplum shirt and the pointy toe pumps, I love that it is just so classy and chic.

Style Me Friday: Shorts Suit...

 Cheers to the Weekend!

 How are you all doing? I am linking up with Ebony from The Fashionista Next Door for her Style Me Friday Challenge. This week's challenge was Shorts Suit or Separate Suit. I am not a big fan of "short" shorts, I am more of a Bermuda Shorts person which is what I styled today. I paired the Bermuda shorts with a floral print blazer and completed the outfit with a pair of color-blocked pumps. I finally got around using my new Canon EF 50mm 1.8 lens to take my outfit pictures. It's so hard using it on a tripod, luckily for  me my younger brother is back home from College so he took these pictures. Hopefully, I can beg him to take more outfit pictures for me *Fingers crosses*...lol

How are you all doing? I hope you are having a great week so far. My week has been kinda busy with work but I would not trade what I am doing now for anything else. On to my outfit, the first thing my mom said when she saw me wear this outfit was "If I was the one that wore this you would say I was old fashioned and too matchy matchy..." Hence the title of this post, I busted out laughing cos I honestly would have said it if she wore this outfit...lol. I have paired these floral prints pieces from H&M separately HERE and HERE. I wanted to try something different, so I paired both piece together and added cognac colored accessories. I actually love the way it turned out. 

How do you guys feel about Prints on Prints? Would you rock it, Yay or Nay?

Sorry for the quality of the pictures, it's so hard taking pictures especially with a tripod nowadays with the changing of the weather, sun glare and even lighting.

How are you all doing? I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I sure did with my sweet mom. Since I finished my finals last Tuesday, it's been so great to not worry about assignments and school work and I absolutely loved doing nothing for a couple of days. But Today, I started my Summer Internship/Job which is super exciting, since I get to work in the Lab and synthesize some cool compounds (I sound so geeky right..lol). Don't worry, under my Lab coat, I am still and always will be a fashionista and super stylish...Ha ha. 

My obsession with denim shirts continues but for Spring/Summer I am gravitating towards Printed Denim Shirts. Prints are always fun and so easy to mix and match. I saw this star printed denim shirt while passing through Old Navy when I went Mother's Day shopping with my mom last week. I adore the loose fit of the denim shirt and paired it with a blue bandage skirt and complimented the outfit with nude accessories. I also added this dangling stars earring and a bold red lips.

I know a lot of college students are currently taking their finals this week, Good luck and I am wishing you all the best...:)
